Climate Change by John Baptist Kisembo (1999)
Definition: Climate Change is looked at as a Change in Climate over time whether due to Natural Variability or as a result of Human Activities. And it is reflected in the Variation of the mean state of weather Variables including wind.
Climate Change Impacts: The Impacts of Climate Change in future will affect people differently depending on their livelihood asset base. Out of my dream, I founded Musabuli Center for Sustainable Living with a view to develop methodologies for community participation in micro- environmental conservation along the Rwenzori Mountains and across Nations.
Vulnerability to Climate Change: Vulnerability to Climate Change is considered as an individual or social grouping’s potential weakness to some form of Natural hazard, and it is determined by primarily the existent state such as the capacity to respond to that particular hazard.
Adaptation to Climate Change: Adaptation to Climate Change refers to response to actual or expected Climate stimuli which exploits beneficial opportunities on the earth. It includes responses to Climate Conditions that may be used to reduce vulnerability and it depends on the ability to adjust to Climate Change. Following my experience here in Africa; I realized that “it will take some time for people here to adopt to Climate Change because of the lack of economic resources and technology” having realized this, I challenged the situation and founded an organisation Called “Musabuli Center For Sustainable Living” to look at the social and economic processes causing Vulnerability. I call upon all people/ organizations globally working towards Healing the Mother Earth, to work alongside my experience; where resources allows, feel free to visit us in Kasese –Uganda –East Africa. (Visit our Contact Page and Email to us.
At our Center; several projects, structures to minimize potential damage on the Mother Earth are running in collaboration with other locally founded community organizations. This is done with the view to reduce present and future vulnerability to Climate Change. In attempted to strengthen this program; we have:

• Mobilized and Supported community groups.
• Have established a Man Made Forrest commonly Called Kisembo Forest.
• Have identified a Natural Water Spring in the Heart of the Forrest and we are due to protect it and use it maximally
• Have Banks of Indigenous knowledge and we are due to look for resources to finalize the documentary process.
• Have conducted several trainings about growing short season crops and drought resistant.
• Have addressed gender issues
• Have Strengthened Hiv/Aids awareness Campaigns
• Have Supported the initiation of (API Project ) African Power Initiative project: This Project Targets obtaining Car Fuels From Specific African Tree Fruits; and the flues obtained is used in driving Engines.( I t is important for you to come and discover as we plan together.) The target for this project is to plant Tree across hills with a purpose.
Climate Change adaptation in the Water Sector:
If you visit Kisembo Forrest, you find Natural water coming from the rock flowing across. It is this; that helps us to manage planting trees across the year. The next plan will be to mobilize resources and protect the spring. Under adaption in the water sector, we have managed to support a community based organisation but we still need your helping hand Visit this organisation at http://rrhsuganda.blogspot.com/

Climate Change deputation in the Agriculture sector.
We collaborate with a number of local NGO as below: Kiima Foods coordinates and supports 25 Small groups and have finished designing a project proposal document for micro irrigation. You can reach Kiima Foods at: Kiima_foods@yahoo.co.uk
We have contributed to the existence of kikumu agriculture research center: You can reach this at http://kikumuagricultureresearchcenter .blogspot.com

Infrastructure and Markets:
In attempt to improve infrastructure and markets, Musabuli Centre for Sustainable living, coordinates with Bukonzo Organics Cooperative Union. From my own view as the Founder Musabuli Centre for Sustainable living, concludes that “Accessibility to markets through proper infrastructure provides not only avenues for buying and selling merchandise but also helps in building social relations
Climate Change Adaptation in the Health Sector:
Kisembo John Baptist and his team found that “ HIV/AIDS is another serious health challenge that creates a large number of vulnerable individuals “ because of this scourge, family assets like land are sold for cash to take care of the sick. From this point, Musabuli Centre for sustainable living supports community drummer groups to increase awareness as a solution to reduce the problem. Tell a friend about this project and plan to visit us. Email us at: musabuli79@yahoo.com

Kisembo John Baptist (2006)
Climate Change undermines health and well being, the economy and the overall development   of Nations.
Food Security across Nations is a major Challenge and Climate Change Shocks are making Food insecurity worse. Impacts of Climate Change are greatest on the lives of ordinarily people and especially women frustrating their efforts to overcome poverty.
I strongly believe that when temperatures rise up; risks will be magnified.
Adaptation Strategy:
My Self and the team, Founded Musabuli Centre for Sustainable Living to practically lead in Climate Change Adaptation across Developing Nations.
For a start; we funded:  The establishment of a man made Forrest commonly known as Kisembo Forrest. if you visit Kisembo Forrest; you also get the advantage of being accommodated in a bush Load. The lodge is a facility of Rwenzori Mountaineering services. Here, all services are available. Visit our contact page and email us to learn more….
Secondly; we have established a project called African Power Initiative (A project which targets obtaining engine oils directly from fruits of specific African trees. (See our page of other projects to learn more)
